I was lucky to have a financially savvy father. He’s a business man and had the patience to sit down and guide me through basic investing and savings.
I’ve never been great at math and I even dropped grade 12 math because it was bringing down my academic average. Somehow though, I really like working on EXCEL and appreciate that as long as I know the formulas, the math is done for me. Having EXCEL and basic investing knowledge gives me the confidence to learn more about money and investing.
Though I might seem impulsive at times, everything I do is meticulously planned. I am giving myself a few months to learn and study before I start playing around with my actual money.
Here are some of the resources for my ‘research’.
